LETTIE LAUGHTER: ARTISTLettie Laughter is a non-binary two-spirit Diné writer, performer, community healer, & educator who currently lives, loves, & dreams in Philly.
They have spend their whole life collecting stories (most often only told once, twice if they were lucky), trying to make sense of the senseless. as a trauma survivor, Lettie found solace && healing through writing, which is oftn reflected in the themes woven throughout their body of work. Cancer Sun, Gemini Moon, & Aquarius Rising make up part of LEtti's birth chart, with plenty of luto power thrown in for good measure. This means they have lots of feelings, know grief intmately, & has often worked through all the layers with mostly their ancestors & spirit guides by their side, always their saving grace. This blog, in part, is intended to make transparent some of their healing processes & hard won vistories, & maybe even be a heartful compasnion in some s way. There will be poems, plays, & monologues, prose, short stories, & maybe even essay type things, as well as excerpts of poems, plays, monologues, ...; incomplete thoughts spells; updates on how they stay alive; not s Welcome to my bones, I have no skin. |
